2. Purpose & Non-Clinical Scope
Clean Days is designed strictly as an informational recovery tracker, daily habit companion, and mutual-aid directory. The Application is not a licensed medical healthcare provider and does not provide clinical diagnosis, medical advice, psychotherapy, or professional addiction treatment.
If you are experiencing acute withdrawal symptoms, thoughts of self-harm, or any medical emergency, you must immediately seek emergency medical attention (911/112) or contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
3. License & Permitted Use
You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Clean Days on your personal mobile devices for your personal recovery tracking and educational reference.
You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or misuse the Application's services to disrupt public recovery meeting directory endpoints.
4. User Data & Device Security
Because Clean Days operates with zero central user databases and stores all recovery records directly within your smartphone's sandboxed storage, you are solely responsible for:
- Maintaining physical and electronic security over your personal mobile device.
- Performing regular offline backups using the built-in JSON export tool in Settings.
- Safeguarding any exported backup files you choose to store or send.
5. Fellowship Non-Affiliation & Trademarks
Clean Days is an independent community project. All references to Twelve-Step programs, Narcotics Anonymous (NA), and Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) are descriptive informational references under fair use. Clean Days is not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by NA World Services, Inc. or AA World Services, Inc.
6. Third-Party Links & Meeting Rooms
The Virtual Meetings directory feature indexes public meeting schedules provided by the Basic Meeting List Toolbox (BMLT) and provides convenience links to third-party services such as Zoom or teleconference bridges. Clean Days does not own, moderate, or operate these virtual recovery rooms and is not responsible for the content, moderation, or conduct of individual meeting attendees or platforms.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
CLEAN DAYS IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, THE CREATORS, DEVELOPERS, AND CONTRIBUTORS OF CLEAN DAYS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, OPPORTUNITY, OR REPUTATION ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APPLICATION.
